Eveneer Xilo Sand

Sanderling by EB Interiors embodies refined coastal living, where architecture and design come together to create a home that is sophisticated yet relaxed. Grounding the project is Elton Group’s Eveneer Raw ALPI Xilo 2-Flamed Sand. The colour and finish were chosen for the deep sand colour it alludes to—reminiscent of wet sand beneath clear coastal waters.

The joinery throughout the home is executed with precision, with features such as floating stone shelves and an intricately detailed staircase that combines concrete, timber treads and metal mesh. These elements not only elevate the visual appeal but also maintain a balance between modernity and natural warmth. Full height internal pivot doors are clad in Eveneer. So too are the carefully arranged wall panelling, and floor-to-ceiling shelving. The extensive integration of Eveneer Xilo 2-Flamed Sand contributes to a sense of continuity and understated luxury.

“We have worked with timber veneer on many projects and know the product performs exceptionally well. Elton Group’s timber veneer provided the warmth needed to counterbalance the harder surfaces throughout this home.”

Asplund Pavilion

Designed by architects Francesco Magnani and Trudy Pelzel on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Italy, the Asplund Pavilion from the Venice Biennale was developed around the architectural vocabulary of traditional Scandinavian wooden stave churches. The prismatic crystal-like form is clad entirely in ALPI wood, with the interior lined entirely in ALPI Xilo Striped XL White designed to house a temporary exhibition of original drawings by Gunnar Asplund. The Asplund Pavilion is symbolic of ALPI’s commitment to the world of design, and continued commitment to innovation and technology in timber veneer.
